Hansi Flick’s FC Barcelona are showing no signs of slowing down as they returned to action after the international break with a 3-0 win over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday .

The victory meant that the Blaugrana extended the perfect start they have made to the season, winning every match in an impressive and dominant run of form.

Barcelona have collected 24 points from 24 available in La Liga, scoring 34 goals and conceding just seven.

Against Getafe, an early goal from Anthony Gordon set the tone before Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead and Jules Kounde secured the win in the second half.

Speaking to the media after the game, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick stated that he was pleased with how his players performed after returning from international duty, highlighting the importance of their early breakthrough.

“I think scoring very early today was very important for building confidence. It is not usually easy to return after an international break, but we did very well. Getafe defend very well and are one of the best teams at doing that,” he said.

“It is not easy to create chances against them, but we did a good job. We defended at the same level, too. I really appreciate what I saw. We want to control the match and the opponent, and we did that very well,” the German coach added.
