Clàudia Pina fired Barcelona to a 6-0 win over Deportivo Alavés with a hat-trick in her stellar substitute performance on Liga F match-day 4.

Barcelona stay two points clear of Real Madrid after they continued their perfect start to the season with a 6-0 win against Alavés. Caroline Graham Hansen and Sydney Schertenleib started the rout at Mendizorroza. Carolina Ferrera then blasted the ball in from the edge of the box to score her first senior goal.

Boasting a three-goal cushion at the break, Barcelona showed no signs of letting up as Clàudia Pina added a fourth within 10 minutes of the restart. Pina then grabbed her second with a spectacular effort from just inside the Alavés half.

There was still time left for the half-time substitute to complete a remarkable hat-trick. With the ball at her feet just outside the box, Pina cleverly worked the space to whip an unstoppable strike into the top corner, making it five goals in four Liga F appearances this season.

Sevilla took maximum points from an eventful clash with Costa Adeje Tenerife. The Andalusian side were presented with the chance to net an early opener when the referee spotted a handball in the box. However, Fatou Kanteh Cham failed to capitalise on the opportunity as she saw her spot-kick brilliantly saved by Noelia Ramos.

It was then the turn of Ramos’ opposite number, Esther Sullastres, to pull off a penalty save. The goalkeeper guessed the right way to thwart former Sevilla attacker Natalia Padilla.
