In the duel with Serbia, the extensively revamped German national team is showing a completely different face than in the 0-1 defeat to Greece.

Jürgen Klopp’s side look committed, eager to play, and dominated their opponents in the first half from start to finish.

After several clear-cut chances were initially missed, the moment finally came in the 39th minute: in his living room, Munich’s Allianz Arena, Tom Bischof scored his first international goal to make it a thoroughly deserved 1-0. Florian Wirtz had set up the move with an outstanding solo run.

Just how much this moment of success meant to the much-criticized DFB stars, and especially to Bischof himself, became clear afterward. The Bayern pro immediately ran to the fans and passionately screamed out his joy.

Those are exactly the emotions we all want to see!
